Com Truise - Declination (ft. Joel Ford)
Early next year, synth producer du jour Com Truise will be releasing his Wave 1 EP, courtesy of the always stellar Ghostly International. The first cut from the EP, which should be gaining steady hype right about now, features Joel Ford - better known as the producer half of Ejecta and one half of the Ford & Lopatin project - for "Declination."
Unlike the usual Truise fare, "Declination" is a bit heavier on the vocal composition, but the producer doesn't skip out on his trademark bone-crush synth play. Stream the excellent effort below and pre-order Wave 1 before its February 18 release.

Album Stream: KILN - meadow:watt
While I was so focused on Recondite's Hinterland, Ghostly International was also streaming another album from its seemingly never-ending lineup. This one comes from the minimalist experimentalists of KILN, which will be releasing meadow:watt the same day of Hinterland - November 11.
The album - the first from the trio on GI since its 2007 release Dusker - offers more quiet spacey hum than robust rhythms, making its Jupiter-esque album cover a bit more apt. Stream it below and pre-order meadow:watt here.

Album Stream: Recondite - Hinterland
Following up last year's On Acid - the debut LP from German producer Recondite - The Bavaria-born Lorenz Brunner has jumped labels, making his stay on the always appreciated Ghostly International.
The label is now streaming his second full-length Hinterland - a delicate showcase of Brunner's appreciation for spacey aesthetics and slow-burned beats - before its November 11 release. Stream it below for now and pre-order the effort here.

Mixtape: SMM: Opiate (Ghostly International)
Ghostly International, one of the best labels around, is bringing out the second installment in its SMM series with SMM: Opiate. The series celebrates the indefinitely broad spectrum of sounds, something of which Ghostly does better than pretty much every other label out there.
Opiate, the second in the series since 2011's Context, features an array of underground artists exploring the depths of drone and ambient, creating for an impossibly lush and rewarding exploration. The mix will be offered up as a vinyl release (as well as digital) in two forms: standard and limited edition. The latter of which will be limited to 350 copies, printed on transparent vinyl with a black silkscreen jacket printed on rare Speckletone French paper - courtesy of Brooklyn's Kayrock Screenprinting. More information on the limited edition package can be found here.
Otherwise, enjoy Opiate in full below and purchase the mixtape here.

Shigeto - Detroit Part 1
Taken from his recently released No Better Time Than Now, Shigeto debuted the new video for "Detroit Part 1."
Following the title premise, Shigeto gives an inside view of his hometown and his studio. It's a pretty bleak perspective, but then again we're talking about Detroit here. Check it out below and grab No Better Time Than Now on Ghostly International.

Fort Romeau - Stay True
Ghostly alum Fort Romeau has released a series of singles in the past few months with "SW9" back in March and the duel single "Jetée / Desire" last month. Now, with word of a full-length coming in 2014, the producer has debuted the first cut from his forthcoming Stay / True EP. The lengthy Morodor-esque number burns away from classic house and disco inspiration, transcending into an Earthy stratosphere.
Stream the effort below. Fort Romeau's Stay / True EP is set for release September 16.

Shigeto - Detroit Part 1
Before Ann Arbor producer Shigeto releases his brand new No Better Time Than Now LP, Ghostly is offering a preview of the album's first official single "Detroit Part 1."
Obvious jazz influences reign through on the track with peeling key progressions railing behind brisk snare drops and pulsed synths, which can be streamed below. The label, also based in Ann Arbor, will be releasing "Detroit Part 1" as a 12" June 17, roughly two months before the scheduled August 20 release date of No Better Time Than Now.

EP Stream: Lord RAJA - Rubies
The latest member in Ghostly International's ever-growing list of ultra-impressive producers is 21-year-old Lord RAJA. Jeremiah Jae fans might recognize the name, as the two have teamed up as Raja Black in the previous months, with RAJA playing the producer role.
Today, RAJA debuted his brand new Rubies EP, which is completely free to download. The six track EP, also available to stream below, touches on hip-hop samples but mostly stays afloat with supreme atmospheric touches. And the deeper it goes, the more textures reveal themselves.

Lusine mix for MTV Hive
Stopping over at MTV Hive with a healthy new mix was Seattle producer Lusine (Jeff McIlwain), still coming off his otherwise underrated release The Waiting Room earlier this year off Ghostly International.
The one hour 12 minute mix starts off with Emeralds, who McIlwain claims was a "a big inspiration for me on my album." Also featured in the mix (check the full-track list here) are remixes from DJ Koze, Four Tet, and plenty of his own to top it off.
Check the mix out below and grab Lusine's latest LP The Waiting Room today.

Beacon - Bring You Back (Kuhrye-oo Remix)
Beacon's sure-to-be-stellar The Ways We Separate LP still has a few weeks before its official release, so to hold the time over Kuhrye-oo has pushed the pace of the album's lead-single "Bring You Back" with a brand new remix.
While the original focuses on minimalist beats perusing the background, Kuhrye-oo has forced the pulse to the forefront, adding intermittent layers of samples throughout. Check out the original and remixed version below and grab The Ways We Separate April 29 via Ghostly.
