Ras_G & The Afrikan Space Program - Injera, Lentils and Kale (Remix)
Celebrating Ras_G's birthday, the off-kilter producer has brought out an unconsciously spirited remix of his own "Injera, Lentils and Kale" alongside his Afrikan Space Program. Frequent collaborator Zeroh throws versus in the mind-melding remix, which features a video from Protius of G and friends at LA's Mom Alim's Ethiopian Restaurant.
A sincere happy birthday to G, one of the year's best producers. And as he says, "You can't fail when you're fuckin with kale."

together PANGEA - Cat Man
From the band's forthcoming Badillac, the recently-renamed together PANGEA debuted the new animated, slightly NSFW video for "Cat Man."
The bluesy garage effort is highlighted by Shelby Hohl's animated violence, which ends up being much more satanic than you might expect. Watch it below and pre-order Badillac before its January 21 release, via Harvest Records.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds video - Higgs Boson Blues
From Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds terminally underrated February LP Push The Sky Away, directors Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard have brought out their darkened live video performance for the 8-minute epic "Higgs Boson Blues."
Like most Cave pieces, "Higgs Boson Blues" drags and drips until the heart of the song can't take it anymore, with the Australian singer punching out every bit of emotion left. Watch it below and grab Push The Sky Away today on the band's own Bad Seed Ltd.

Vapauteen - Basilisk
As part of his six-track eponymous Vapauteen EP, producer Shawn O'Sullivan released the new video for the self-categorized "brutal electronic" track "Basilisk."
Dealing with the paranoid, hard-line techno base of the track, the video is a fragmented series of graphic distortions, which only help to keep up with its frenetic pace. Check out below and order Vapauteen today on L.I.E.S.

Jon Hopkins video - Collider
With the release of the extended version of Immunity, one of 2013's most surprising, well-balanced, and transcendent albums, Jon Hopkins debuted his newest video for "Collider."
The new video, which will also be released as a single bundled with a few remixes next February, comes from upstarts THUMP UK and director Tom Haines. On working with the producer, Haines said;
"Jon's music has a transportive quality, which can be blissful and expansive, but can also be internal, and more aggressive, and Collider is at this end of the spectrum. We wanted to create an internal journey, which was unflinching, singular and claustrophobic and at the same time liberating. The video is like a voodoo ceremony, where the lead character dances herself into frenzy, and through the dance gains access to a parallel dimension; it's her unfurling thoughts, her dislocated mind, and hints at something more apocalyptic - an end game for her and us."
Watch the video below and order the extended version of Immunity on iTunes, before its December 9 release.

Lee Bannon - Value 10
The excitement for Lee Bannon's first Ninja Tune LP is gaining, especially after the video release of the album's "Value 10." It's a short burst of frenetic touches, wringing sampling and heart-fire beats through patched vocals, making Alternate/endings even more promising.

Watch The National on Bob's Burgers
Fans of Bob's Burgers and The National - one in the same. Finally, finally, the two forces joined together for "Sailor's In Your Mouth," an ode to gravy in the show's recent Thanksgiving episode. Fans familiar with the show will note that Thanksgiving is Bob's favorite holiday. Whether or not Bob is a fan of solemn indie rock is a mystery however.

Jeremiah Jae - Shake Stunt (ft. Oliver The 2nd)
Because there's never enough, Chicago native and new Warp member Jeremiah Jae unveiled the second EP to his Dirty Collections series, which includes the brand new "Shake Stunt" featuring Oliver The 2nd.
Jae couples the release with a DIY video, complete with a laid back, drug-addled green screen. Check it out below and watch out for Jae's final EP addition to the series, coming December 10.

Watch James Franco and Seth Rogen take on "Bound 3"
Last week, Kanye West released the furiously green screen heavy video for his Yeezus standout "Bound 2," starring his barely there fiancee Kim Kardashian on Ellen. You know this, because there's been about four billion jokes about it already. But now we have the best one.
Best friends and all-around good guys James Franco and Seth Rogen did their best to remake the video as "Bound 3 (Vague)", with Rogen taking the role of the shirtless Kardashian. I'm not sure if it's actually less ridiculous than the original. You know what, it isn't.

New Arcade Fire video - Afterlife
Earlier today, director Emily Kai Bock introduced her new video for one of 2013's most resounding tracks, Arcade Fire's "Afterlife." And not to be outdone by the sheer weight of the song, which already had some treatment from frequent Arcade Fire collaborator Spike Jonze at the YouTube Music Awards, Bock introduced what may very yet be the year's best music video.
The Reflektor track follows the lives of three men - all of separate generations - in their lives after dark (hence, after "life"). The family follows three separate directions, running through a maze of frightening reality and perpetual longing for a common love.

Gent Mason video - Head
A few weeks back, producer Gent Mason dropped his gorgeous debut EP via London label Aesop. Included on the release, was the "Eden" B-Side "Head," which has a bright, gushing new video out that fits the steamy R&B and jittery production.

DZ Deathrays video - Northern Lights
From the Brisbane duo's forthcoming solo LP, DZ Deathrays debuted the graphic-heavy new video for "Northern Lights."
The track embraces an easy, almost poppy spin with a booming chorus and charging rhythm, but the output still relies heavily on hazed distortion and rubbery vocal echoes. Catch it below, courtesy of director Alex Grigg, and watch out for the band's new album early next year.

Julianna Barwick video - The Harbinger
Light-as-air singer-songwriter Julianna Barwick teamed up with frequent collaborator Derrick Belcham for another video from her impossibly ethereal LP Nepenthe, this time for "The Harbinger."
For those who caught Barwick on her recent tour dates, possibly alongside Sigur Ros (wink), the video would perform in the backdrop during the song. For those who haven't seen it, it's as ambiguously emotional, and unquestionably beautiful as you might suspect.
Stream it below and order Nepenthe today courtesy of Dead Oceans.
V.C. - Roy
If you're unfamiliar with the skwee movement (pfft, you're totally on that) at this point, here's a small introduction from Helsinki producer V.C. His new geometric-friendly video for "Roy" (by animator Anthony Barkworth-Knight) illuminates the dub-inspired chiptune, making for a hypnotizing and subtlety chaotic project.
Check it out below courtesy of V.C.'s upcoming LP Invisibility, via his own Raha & Tunteet label.
Run The Jewels video - Banana Clipper (ft. Big Boi)
Proud owners of one of the year's best LPs, Run The Jewels (Killer Mike and El-P if you forgot ... okay you didn't forget) debuted the new video for album standout "Banana Clipper" featuring Big Boi.
The video (courtesy of Complex) features the two pounding heady verses amid clouds of exhaust and dust until Big Boi bursts through in the end to hold his own. It was already one of the year's best tracks, and the video does a lot to reinforce that.

Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks video - Lariat
Over at The 405, I highlighted the new album from Stephen Malkmus' on-again-off-again project with The Jicks. The Pavement frontman and Stockton, California icon - now living in Berlin - will be releasing Wig Out At Jagbags, his sixth studio album with the band early next year. Included in on the release, recorded in Amsterdam with his longtime collaborator Remko Schouten, is the first single "Lariat," which has an accompanying French lyric video from Leblanc + Cudmore.
For English-speaking fans, we're on the outside of this one, but we'll let it slide because of the endless charm.
Watch it below and order Wig Out At Jagbags (Chicago reference, there) January 7, via Matador. The first 500 LP pre-orders will also include a bonus 7" with the non-album track "Pick Up The Spare."

Kool A.D. video - Naughty By Nature
Despite the never-ending growing collection of albums from former Das Racist member Kool A.D., the brand new "Naughty By Nature" doesn't come from anywhere in particular. Nor is it actually about Naughty By Nature.
The track is basically a gloat-fest with mohawk-themed videos placating the background, produced by A.D.'s longtime collaborator Mike Finito. Check it out below.

Gentry - Not Like Me
London singer-songwriter Gentry has been pretty pretty under the radar, but the eccentric and dynamic "Not Like Me" and video are pretty hard to ignore. The dance-funk symbiosis clash for an intensely catchy song, which you can check out below.

Ty Segall video - The Man Man
The first video from Ty Segall's recently released solo LP Sleeper (not to be confused with the last album he helped release; FUZZ), comes from the violent mind of LEAF. "The Man Man" follows a gun-wielding crew of monster-clad men, seemingly doing the town's dirty work.
Watch it below and grab Sleeper today on Drag City.
Destroyer video - Bye Bye
There was a slight air of disappointment when Destroyer frontman Dan Bejar announced that his newest project would be a five-track EP of Spanish-only songs. Not that that is entirely a bad thing, but for Destroyer fans waiting on end for a follow-up to his fantastically understated 2011 album Kaputt - still one of the best albums early this decade - the wait will be a little longer.
Bejar debuted his first track from Five Spanish Songs late last month - a cover of Sr. Chinarro's "El Rito" - and now he has a brand new video for the romantic acoustic track "Bye Bye." Filmed by David Galloway, the video takes place on some no-name ranch in a field of some pretty healthy and happy chickens.
Check it out below and grab Destroyer's Five Spanish Songs EP November 29 on Merge.
