Kool A.D. video - Naughty By Nature

Despite the never-ending growing collection of albums from former Das Racist member Kool A.D., the brand new "Naughty By Nature" doesn't come from anywhere in particular. Nor is it actually about Naughty By Nature.

The track is basically a gloat-fest with mohawk-themed videos placating the background, produced by A.D.'s longtime collaborator Mike Finito. Check it out below.

Album Download: Knifefight - Knifefight

Knifefight, made up of rapper Beans and Brooklyn producer Mux Mool, has a beauty of a free mixtape courtesy of Anticon.

The six-track effort comes with Mux Mool's calm digital footprint, syncing 80s funk grooves with drags of Euro-fused electro over Beans' hearty verses. The Anti Pop Consortium co-founder also teams up with the likes of Cities Aviv, Kool A.D., and Sub Con on several tracks, making it all the more important that you download it right now.

New Fat Tony video - Hood Party (ft. Kool A.D. and Despot)

Hanging out on Froogle, the latest media incarnation of what a Google Hangout is (still haven't done that - note: need more internet friends) are Fat Tony, Kool A.D., and Despot for "Hood Party." Tony sticks with his Houston, with A.D. and Despot stashing on the coasts. Look closely and you might notice plenty of cameos, ranging from Bun B, Rai P, Lakutis, Amaze 88, and plenty more.

Check it out below and grab Fat Tony's newest album Smart Ass Black Boy today via Young One Records.

Mixtape: Kool & Kass - Peaceful Solution

Not one for slowing down, Kool A.D. and newfound partner Kassa Overall have debuted their amazing 17-track Peaceful Solutions mixtape, available for free on the duo's Bandcamp.

The mixtape debuted less than a week after Kool A.D. debuted 51, the third mixtape in his ongoing mixtape series in ode to his hometown San Francisco. While most of the tracks were produced by Kassa himself, some familiar names do show up during the album. "Triflin" is produced by Tom Cruz, who, sadly, only shows up one time on the tape. Frequent Kool A.D. partner Amaze 88 also shows up with the closer title track.

Stream/download the mixtape below.

New Fat Tony - I Shine

The second Smart Ass Black Boy track from Fat Tony doesn't feature the welcome help of Despot and Kool A.D. like "Hood Party" did, but some stylish production from Tom Cruz does its duty to set it apart. Stream/download the new track below and grab Tony's upcoming album June 11.

Kool A.D. video - Moneyball

Featured on one of Kool A.D.'s mixtape homages to his native San Francisco's transit system is his newest video for "Moneyball." Favoring Kool A.D's likable eccentricities, the video was filmed at Ricky Boscarino's avant-garde house Luna Parc, which has it's own Pee-Wee Herman-esque website.

"Moneyball" is featured on the 63 mixtape from producer Mike Finito. As an added bonus to Das Racist fans, former counterpart Heems released his brand new balls-out video for "Desi Shoegaze Taiko," which exclusively uses clips from the blood rave scene in the first Blade movie. Yep.

Check out both below.

New Kool A.D. mixtapes

Das Racist may be dead, but the sum of the parts are still doing their due diligence. Kool A.D., debuted two brand new tapes earlier today via The Fader, 63 and 19. For those who may be unfamiliar, the numbers signify bus lines in the Bay Area, which explains Kool A.D.'s previous 51 tape.

Both are filled to the brim with guest rappers and producers you can see via the Bandcamp. Each of the tapes are available for $7, but you can stream both below.
