Album Download: Knifefight - Knifefight

Knifefight, made up of rapper Beans and Brooklyn producer Mux Mool, has a beauty of a free mixtape courtesy of Anticon.

The six-track effort comes with Mux Mool's calm digital footprint, syncing 80s funk grooves with drags of Euro-fused electro over Beans' hearty verses. The Anti Pop Consortium co-founder also teams up with the likes of Cities Aviv, Kool A.D., and Sub Con on several tracks, making it all the more important that you download it right now.

Album Download: After Dark 2

Nearly six years after Italians Do It Better released the seminal After Dark mix, spearheading the career of Johnny Jewel - aka Mr. Chromatics - the label finally put out the much anticipated sequel. The second mix features help from Jewel's aforementioned Chromatics (three songs), Glass Candy, Mirage, Symmetry, and plenty more worth the time.

Mixtape: Kool & Kass - Peaceful Solution

Not one for slowing down, Kool A.D. and newfound partner Kassa Overall have debuted their amazing 17-track Peaceful Solutions mixtape, available for free on the duo's Bandcamp.

The mixtape debuted less than a week after Kool A.D. debuted 51, the third mixtape in his ongoing mixtape series in ode to his hometown San Francisco. While most of the tracks were produced by Kassa himself, some familiar names do show up during the album. "Triflin" is produced by Tom Cruz, who, sadly, only shows up one time on the tape. Frequent Kool A.D. partner Amaze 88 also shows up with the closer title track.

Frank Ocean on Fallon; releases Channel Orange early

The momentous television premiere of Frank Ocean came shortly after the early-scheduled release of Channel Orange, which you can expect to have a lot of hype around it by now. That album, by the way, is available for free stream here.

In debut performance, Ocean dropped an orchestrated rendition of "Bad Religion" along with the always-appreciated help from The Roots on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Check it out below.
