MED & Blu - Peroxide [(ft. Dam-Funk) Prod. Madlib]
Tomorrow, the Stones Throw duo MED & Blu will be releasing their second EP of 2013 with The Buzz. The album's first cut features Mayer Hawthorne, which doesn't interest us in the slightest (never forget). However, the other cut features help from Dam-Funk and the supreme deity Madlib. DF plays his role with the ultra-dirty chorus, while MED & Blu flash between Madlib's bumping beats.
Check it out below and order the EP here, courtesy of Stones Throw and Bang Ya Head.

Jonwayne - The Come Up Pt. 1 (ft. Scoop DeVille)
I feel like calling up Yo, Is This Racist? about people being surprised when rappers don't look like rappers. Because if you aren't familiar with up-and-comer Jonwayne, he doesn't fit the typecast.
The California rapper will be releasing a collaborative effort alongside Scoop DeVille, which includes the soul-crusher "The Come Up Pt. 1." The verses launch out and grab your throat while the molten soul samples ebb effortlessly through, making the hype fairly deserved.
Jonwayne and DeVille's Rap Album One will be released October 29 on Stones Throw.

Ahnnu - Shame
Leaving Records, fronted by Los Angeles producer Matthewdavid, in participation with Stones Throw, is highlighting little known West Coast producer Ahnnu with the brand new cassette World Music. Featured on the instrumental mix is "Shame," a lo-fi churn of jazz and soul-digging samples without miring in older progressions. Stream it below and grab World Music September 3.

Quasimoto video - Catchin' The Vibe
The high-pitched Quasimoto, one of the many appreciated projects from LA super-producer/DJ/rapper Madlib, has a brand new trash-centric video for the solemn played "Catchin' The Vibe." The video follows an unknown dump-dweller crafting a mysteriously colorful physical project in the Portland rain as jerky kids look onward. But hey, there's a happier ending than you might think.

New Homeboy Sandman - Easy Does It (ft. F. YC The Cynic and I Am Many)
With a new set of tour dates and an album on the way, Stones Throw alum Homeboy Sandman debuted the M Slago produced "Easy Does It." The piano-looped samples, live crowd echoes, and fist-first verses are easily reminiscent of the Queens rapper's early rap influences. There's a lightness in the moment, but that seems minimum compared to the world destroying verses from YC The Cynic and I Am Many, helping to drive it all home.
Sandman's next album, All That I Hold Dear, comes out August 6.

New CX Kidtronik - Lady's Krak P.S.A. (ft. Lady Miss Kier, Ladybug Mecca)
Last March, Stones Throw fellow CX Kidtronik debuted his magnetic and cutthroat "Locked In". The furiously cerebral track brought in likable comparisons to Death Grips, but that's mostly based on the tantric energy on display. Two months later and we finally get the second taste of his upcoming Krak Attack 2: The Battle Of Eli Skiff LP, with "Lady Krak P.S.A".
This time around, Kidtronik stays off the verses, with Lady Miss Kier and Digable Planets' member Ladybug Mecca contributing. It may not be as entirely abrasive as the aforementioned "Locked In", but the production techniques are no joke. There's a really heavy vibe here, and that's worth noting enough.
Check out the track below.

New Oh No video - Boom
Oh No, the Stones Throw alum whom some might no better as the younger brother of the beloved Madlib, just released the newest of his Disrupted Ads tracks "Boom." Aptly paired up with little-known action sequences in films, where the "Boom" works well, the supposedly nerving track seems a lot more fun with the video.
Check it out below and grab Disrupted Ads today.

CX Kidtronik - Locked In (ft. Billy Danze)
(Notes: You aren't ready for this).
Calling CX Kidtronik's "Locked In" just another "stellar" Stones Throw Release does a disservice to "Locked In."
The cut-throat beats Kidtronik brings, with the help of M.O.P. member Billy Daze are gripping, terrorizing, and Holy Hell mesmerizing. It doesn't take too long for you to get launched in to the all-world frenzy of "Locked In," but the blistering force is over before you're even ready to let go.
Get a listen below and watch out for Kidtronik's Krak Attack 2: The Battle Of Eli Skiff in the future.
