Oneohtrix Point Never - Live At MoMA PS1

With news of extended tour dates on the way, Warp alum Daniel Lopatin debuted a portion of his recent live performance alongside visual artist Nate Boyce for the MoMA PS1 project "R Plus 6/Affect Index."

It's not too much of a surprise, given Lopatin's overall penchant for beguiling oddness as Oneohtrix Point Never, and the partnership with MoMA, that the efforts are "curious." I won't go into anything further than that, because I'm doing whatever Lopatin and Boyce accomplished a likely disservice. Screaming Females - Ancient Civilization

Before they head out on another short tour, New Jersey fuzz punks Screaming Females will be releasing a split 7" alongside Wisconsin band Tenement with the single "Ancient Civilization."

Canadian jazz trio (don't say that often here) BADBADNOTGOOD will be setting off for the European portion of its tour soon. But before then, the group debuted the mellowed out "Hedron," the first new original music from the band since last year's BBNG2. New Wavves - Demon To Lean On + tour dates w/FIDLAR

Last night, Wavves frontman Nathan Williams released some more information on yet another release hyped for early 2013. Wavves new studio LP, Afraid Of Heights, is set for release through Mom + Pop Records March 26. The first official single from the album, "Demon To Lean On," is also available to stream below.

But the more exciting news to go along with it is FIDLAR joining the upcoming Wavves tour. Full dates are listed after the bump, but local fans should be excited for the April 9 show at Johnny Brenda's.
