Silver & Gold, the newest collection of Christmas-themed EP's from Sufjan Stevens, is out now, but you can add another video to the growing collection for "Joy To The World." Taking a different path than the hyper-violent claymation of "Mr. Frosty Man," and the nostalgia venture of "Silver & Gold," "Joy To The World" goes down the cheap DIY route. Really cheap. The newest video from Sufjan Stevens upcoming Christmas EP collection Silver & Gold: Songs For Christmas Volumes 6-10 features Stevens' nephew Gavin in a more personal setting. One way more emotional than the violent claymation of Stevens' previous "Mr. Frosty Man."

The Roots perform (for real) on Fallon

I imagine there had to be at least a few people in the crowd who were slightly disappointed when they heard the musical guest for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon was the band that's there every night anyway. Regardless, the Roots performed two songs from their new (and stellar) album Undun on the show, including part of an amazing "Redford" medley inspired by the Sufjan Stevens' song.

Monday Bears: New Sufjan Stevens video - Too Much

After making his network television debut on Fallon last week, Sufjan Stevens released the first video from his recently released The Age of Adz. I'll keep it short: Stevens and Co. roll around in a crayola box of clothes and dance in a stop-motion black and white thingin' do. Watch below.

It's been everywhere lately, and you know how I hate missing out, so here it is; Sufjan Stevens all new (really!) All Delighted People EP. The lengthy eight track EP - two of which best 10 minutes a piece - isn't anything from the Detroit folk-singer/songwriter's 50 state epic (still awaiting part III), but it's new Sufjan, something we haven't heard in a long time.

Friday Bears: The National and Sufjan Stevens are "Afraid" on Letterman

The suit-clad members of The National and special back-up guest Sufjan Stevens performed "Afraid of Everyone" on the Late Show with David Letterman last night, days after the release of the group's super-brooding and spectacular High Violet. The performance is, whatever you think of The National - brooding, and nothing much else describes it more aptly.

High Violet is available now via 4AD Records.
