James Blake - Retrograde (Live on Later ... With Jools Holland)
James Blake stopped by, once again, Later ... With Jools Holland to perform the standout "Renegade" from this year's Overgrown LP. It's an intensely crisp, refined performance, which finds Blake sporting a 1-800-Dinosaur shirt, the name of his new imprint.
Check the performance below and grab Overgrown today on Republic. Otherwise, check out the entire Later episode, which also features spots from Franz Ferdinand and Goldfrapp, among others.

Vampire Weekend on Later ... With Jools Holland
Starting off the furious whirlwind of performances before the release of the band's third album Modern Vampires Of The City, Vampire Weekend stopped over Later ... With Jools Holland with a couple new tracks. First, the album's lead single "Diane Young," leading into "Unbelievers." The appearance comes after the Steve Buscemi-directed performance last Sunday at New York's Roseland Ballroom (Buscemi is a distant relative of band member Chris Baio, in case you forgot) and nearly a week before the band's upcoming Saturday Night Live appearance.
Modern Vampires In The City is slated for release May 14 on XL Recordings.

Ryan Adams on Later ... With Jools Holland
Ryan Adam's recent break from his super-prolific stretch in the mid-late 2000s is over. With the release of Ashes & Fire, the 13th in Adams' 11-year catalog, the Jacksonville, NC native right back into old familiar form, as you can see in his performance of "Lucky Now" on Jools Holland, below.

Bon Iver on Jools Holland
Last we heard from Jools Holland it was Girls' frontman Christopher Owens going off about how his band gets frequently denied play opportunity and how Lana Del Rey got a spot for no reason. But, that doesn't matter, Bon Iver's performance of "Towers" does.

Wednesday Bears: TV on the Radio, Death Cab, and Strokes do late night
Last night, TV on the Radio, Death Cab, and The Strokes all made another stop in the ongoing series of their rampant late-night performances.
TV on the Radio, making their first national television appearance since the death of bassist Gerard Smith - a noticeable absence - in late April, performed "Will Do," one of Nine Types of Light
's lighter selections on The Tonight Show.

Over at Fallon, Death Cab performed one of the newer singles from Codes and Keys
, "You Are a Tourist," as well as a special bonus rendition of "Title Track" from 2000's We Have the Fact and We're Voting Yes
.

Wednesday Bears: Arcade Fire on Jools Holland
After their second performance on Saturday Night Live last weekend, Arcade Fire made their trans-Atlantic trek to "Later ... with Jools Holland" to perform "Ready to Start" and "Month of May," a song I still consider to be among the weakest in the Arcade Fire catalog, both from The Suburbs
.
