Album Stream: Classic Drug References Vol. 1 - Various Artists

We've hit a bit on the glorious out-of-nowhere Classic Drug References compilation last week with Ras_G and Zeroh's "Yumshit" - a warped out, yet short one-two punch from the collection. Only a few days later, we get to here the whole thing, and holy shit you're in the right place.

Also included on the mix, which meshes wonderfully together, are well-established acts like Danny Brown, Knxwledge, Blu, and plenty of others, making for one of the year's best compilation efforts. Stream the entire thing below and order the Sweeney Kovar project here.

Ras_G and Zeroh - Yumshit

I've been stupidly unaware of Classic Drug References, which has been teaming up some very noteworthy rappers and producers for some time now. In its most recent addition CDR brings together space maestro producer Ras_G and rapper Zeroh for two rough cuts of "Yumshit."

G fans will note the trademark atmospheric haze he imprinted on the cuts (an original version and a beat tape one), which never fails to deliver. Check out both versions below and read up on the collaboration here.
