Nocando - Little Green Monsters (ft. Liphemra)

Hellfyre Club figurehead Nocando has detailed the release of his forthcoming album Jimmy The Burnout, which features the dynamic new single "Little Green Monsters." Nocando enlists Liphemra for the dirty hook, but does most of the heavy lifting himself on the effort.

Emerging Mid-West rapper Milo quickly became one of the brightest new stars of 2013. His furiously fascinating work with Hellfyre Club, including his free Cavalcade, remains one of the year's best ventures. For that, it's easy to see why I'd grow so immediately attached to his side-project Scallops Hotel.

His new nine-track EP poplar grove showcases his out-of-mind verses and mystifying production; with the help of former collaborators Busdriver, Lee Bannon, and more. And as with everything else Milo touches, it's a must listen. Stream it below and buy the EP for $5 here.

Mixtape: Hellfyre Club - Dorner vs. Tookie

After releasing a trio of collaborative tracks from the likes of Milo, Open Mike Eagle, Nocando, Busdriver, and Jeremiah Jae, the increasingly awesome Hellfyre Club imprint finally debuted its Dorner vs. Tookie compilation.

The 17-track mix is available on the label's Bandcamp at the "name your own price" discount, but with the supreme quality of new and previously released tracks included, you'd be inclined to pitch in. Stream the entire effort below if you want to improve your well-being.

Busdriver, Open Mike Eagle, Milo - All Pastel Everything

The third track from Hellfyre Club's forthcoming compilation Dorner Vs. Tookie once again features the help of Busdriver, Open Mike Eagle, and Milo. Busdriver in particular has appeared on all three of the compilation's first singles, with the latter each appearing on two tracks.

Busdriver kills the opening portion - once again with blinding speed in his verse - with Milo spreading out the end with his usual philosophical dive. Check it out below and grab Dorner Vs. Tookie December 5.

Busdriver and Open Mike Eagle - Elephant In The Pressroom (prod. by Jeremiah Jae)

The second track from the forthcoming Hellfyre Club compilation Dorner vs. Tookie comes from Busdriver (who also appeared on the first one) and Open Mike Eagle, along with one of our favorite producers/rappers, Jeremiah Jae.

Jae lets Busdriver and Open Mike Eagle control the verses on "Elephant In The Pressroom." The two jab masterful puncheswith Busdriver honing his speed against Open Mike Eagles poignant pop-culture references ("Miley Cyrus likes to treat a microphone stand as if its a large black man"). Jae does stamp his portion in at the end, but by then its already a pretty satisfying track.

Milo, Busdriver, & Nocando - Manchester (Prod. by Super)

Featured on the forthcoming Hellfyre Club compilation Dorner vs. Tookie is the mega-starred cut featuring some of 2013's best emerging acts Milo, Busdriver, Nocando, and producer Super.

The rapper fling furious verses at each other, with Milo leading the way. And while he might be the most exciting name tabbed on the project, Nocando sits highest on the pedestal with his monumental pace and marking signatures. Most notably, "I'm colder than a whore's heart in a brothel in downtown Moscow." That sticks, man.

Dorner vs. Tookie will be released December 5.

Milo video - Besos

Among the litany of "breakout" 2013 artists, there are few that much up to Milo (so far). The Hellfyre Club rapper, who just released his awesome, free Cavalcade mixtape over at Bandcamp, debuted the sweetly bizarre new video for "Besos" with director Riley Lake. The greenscreen adventure may be odd for some, but the song kills it beyond words.

Flying under the radar this year was the unreal double-release from Milo, Things That Happen At Day/Things That Happen At Night. Both of which are currently available on his Bandcamp, are fusions of fantastic craft and flooding intelligence, amounting to one of 2013's best releases so far. For those unfamiliar, Milo has another new piece to his masterful 2013, Cavalcade.

The new release, however, is free to download courtesy of Hellfyre Club. Pay close attention and the range of samples used will come as a surprise - from America to James Blake - on the art rap opus.
