New Christopher Owens - Here We Go

Guys, I still don't understand why Girls broke up. They had two albums and were both really good. It doesn't make sense. It still doesn't make sense.

Regardless, former Girls frontman Christopher Owens is getting ready to release his first solo album, Lysandre. And today we get our first listen to the album with the decidedly romantic "Here We Go." Flutes included?

Lysandre is set for release January 14 of next year via Fat Possum/Turnstile Records.

Wednesday Bears: El-P - Tougher Colder Killer (ft. Killer Mike and Despot)

From El-P's upcoming Cancer for the Cure album, set for release next month, we've heard "The Full Retard," the first solo cut from the Brooklyn rapper since 2007. The newest release, a full-fledged go hard "Tougher Colder Killer" featuring help from Killer Mike and frequent EL-P linked rapper Despot, is goddamn insatiable.

New Walkmen - Heaven

Friday Bears: New Walkmen video - While I Shovel the Snow

If the Walkmen's new video "While I Shovel Snow" didn't actually have snow in it, I'd probably be a little turned off by it. Luckily, it has a ton. No shoveling though, which I can deal with.
