Moderat video - Gita
Partnering up with UNICEF's #ENDViolence Initiative, Moderat debuted a new video for "Gita" about spousal abuse.
The cut comes from the group's recent LP II. The video, partially live action and animated, comes from directors Juan Carlos Maneglia and Tana Schembori. It follows a son who witnesses his parents fighting and goes for help.
On the video, Moderat said, "When UNICEF asked us if they could use 'Gita' for a video for their campaign against domestic violence, we agreed immediately. Working together with UNICEF means being part of something for the greater good. We are very happy to be involved and hope that we can help to make a change."
Watch the video below, help UNICEF, and order the "Gita" 10" on Monkeytown, which comes out October 25.
