Friday Bears: Final Pitchfork Music Festival additions

July's annual Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago added the final acts to its 2011 billing earlier today. Late additions of Battles, whose new album Gloss Drop will be released early June, were added to the July 15-17 festival alongside veterans DJ Shadow, Superchunk, and Thurston Moore.

Also added were: Toro Y Moi, Zola Jesus, Twin Shadow, tUnE-yArDs, Cold Cave, OFF!, Wild Nothing, Julianna Barwick, EMA, Darkstar, and Gatekeeper.

The fest's three-day tickets have been sold out for a while, but single days are still available here.

Oh, and before anyone forgets - any act that plays Pitchfork Music Fest cannot play Lollapalooza.

Thursday Bears: Kills bring "Satellite" to Conan

Last night, Allison Mosshart and Jamie Hince (Kills, yall) played "Satellite," the first single off the duo's new album Blood Pressures, which was released last week, on Conan. The duo we're supported by two older women and Carl Weathers, apparently. Check it.

Our newest obsession: Unouomedude

Been a while, huh?

In Bears and Bullets first Our New Obsession of 2011, I've come across unouomedude (non-capitalized band name) via We All Want Someone to Shout For. The Jacksonville native comes off the free-flowing summer vibes listeners of Surfer Blood and The Drums should be keenly familiar with.

Listen below to his highly infectious single "Frequency," which will be released as a single April 19. Unouomedude's Marsh EP is available now for any requested price, including, you know, nothing. Check it out here.

New Atmosphere video - She's Enough

With today's release of The Family Sign, Atmosphere released the first official video off the new album for "She's Enough."

The video, with Slug playing the father of a son who has trouble walking/picking up the ladies, also features Brother Ali, the disinterested cafeteria worker.

The Family Sign is out now via Rhymesayers Entertainment.

Monday Bears: New Weeknd video (unofficial) - High For This

Fresh off the release of his intensely addicting mixtape last month, Abel Tesfaye, better known now as The Weeknd, has his first (although unofficial) music video to his name for "High For This." Director Michael Cumming did his best to at least make the video pretty NSFW.
