Wednesday Bears: New Yeasayer Video - O.N.E.

Yeasayer's new 80's-stylo-esque Radical Friend directed video for the band's new single "O.N.E.," reads more like an off-shoot Tron promo than a video from the band who brought us 2007's All Hour Cymbals. It's a visual escapade, full of neon and bright crystals and a dash of humor. I would say this is probably directed by Eric Wareheim if I didn't know any better.

T.I. is "Back"

T.I., nearly after a year in prison and half-way homes, is set for his big comeback at the end of this month.

The Atlanta native is already geared to release his seventh studio album this August, releasing the albums first single, "I'm Back" earlier today. T.I. partners The Trackslayerz said today that the single is, "not an official first single, just something to keep the streets warm."

Expect bigger noise before the album's release sometime in April and May.

Tuesday Bears: New MGMT - "Flash Delirium"

MGMT debuted "Flash Delirium," the first single from their highly-anticipated second studio album Congratulations earlier today. For about a little more than four minutes, listeners can get the pleasure of hearing the group channel through about 11 different sub-genres in a quick, bright swirl. In the end, the title really does it justice.

Congratulations is due out April 13 via Sony Music Entertainment.

Monday Bears: Vampire Weekend back on SNL

Vampire Weekend made their triumphant return to Saturday Night Live last weekend, in what many regard as one of the best episodes in a long, long time, thanks in large part to host and Southern beard aficionado Zach Galifianakis.

The band brought two of Contra's heavy hitters -- "Cousins" and the Gyllenhaal-powered "Giving Up the Gun," complete with a backing string-section -- in quite possibly the best live-performance we've ever seen from the Ivy League crew.
