Since everyone else is doing it --The National debuted the first single from their upcoming studio album, High Violet, earlier today. The single, "Bloodbuzz Ohio," isn't quite as drenched in the ether as "Terrible Love," which the band performed to a fuzzy perfection last week during Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, but it still brings lead singer's Matt Berninger's wonderfully swollen gaslight hymns, ala the group's 2007 album, The Boxer.
High Violet is scheduled for release May 11 in the U.S., via 4AD

I came to know that a handful of copies of the CD can still be found on Amazon, but you can get your hands on a limited edition remastered LP via Duchess Archive.
