(Check out official line-up here.)
I had previously mentioned the likes of The Killers, Depeche Mode, Beastie Boys, Kings of Leon, Tool, Jane's Addiction, Lou Reed, Andrew Bird, Neko Case, and Animal Collective prior to today, along with listing off rumors of TV on The Radio and Deerhunter, among others, to play.
Some surprises to me: Arctic Monkeys and Snoop Dogg weren't on my radar prior to today, but I'm pleased to see some other acts take part. Oh, and No Age was a delightful surprise.
Disappointments: No Yeah Yeah Yeahs or Franz Ferdinand, which both seemed to be locks. Aside from them I was hoping Mastodon and M.I.A. would appear.
In all, the middle-tier is very, very packed, leaving all three days with a good amount of substance, despite having some less notable headliners than 2008.
