Download Michael Moore's Newest Film for Free!

It seems like everyone wants to follow the Radiohead encrypted In Rainbows model recently. First Trent Reznor gave his latest NIN album, The Slip, away for free last April, and Greg Gillis (Girl Talk) let his fans pay whatever for his latest album Feed the Animals. Now, for the first time ever, anyone can download a major motion picture for free (legally). The documentary, entitled Slacker Uprising, was filmed by Michael Moore during his 62 city-tour during the 2004 election to encourage young voters (worked out, didn't it?).

You can go to the movie's website and sign of for Slacker Uprising's free download, available September 23rd. Expect the documentary to be released this October on DVD.

The Hold Steady - Sequestered in Memphis (Muppets)

Fans of the Muppets and Muppet themed music videos have another one to slide into their semi-massive inventory. It's not the official video, no, but someone packaged together clips from The Muppet Show in time with The Hold Steady's "Sequestered in Memphis." If you wondering about any more Muppet mayhem, check out the older but just as good "All Through the Night" by Escort.

Banned Poster for Zach & Miri Make a Porno

Kevin Smith's new movie, after dealing with getting rid of it's former NC-17 rating (now R), has had it's first official poster banned. Is it really all that disturbing? Not for me, I think. But I guess getting oral sex makes kids cry, so it's gone.

Meet Bristol Palin's Baby Daddy

In the recent case of giving unforseen and oddly constructed justice against the GOP and the McCain Campaign, vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin's 17 year-old daughter was recently discovered to be pregnant.

That's all well known. But what isn't known is the future father, and pseudo son-in-law of the stricly anti-abortion Palin family, Levi Johnston. The Superficial found this in his Myspace biography, via The New York Post.

"On a MySpace page subsequently taken down, Johnston boasts, 'I'm a fuckin' redneck' who likes to snowboard and ride dirt bikes. "But I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing, shoot some shit and just fuckin' chillin' I guess."
'Ya fuck with me I'll kick [your] ass,' he added.
He also claims to be 'in a relationship,' but states, 'I don't want kids.'"

The prize for me is "shoot some shit."
