Arcade Fire - Here Comes The Night Time

In case you may have missed it, last Saturday, after the season premiere of Saturday Night Live, musical guests Arcade Fire debuted the half-hour "Here Comes The Night Time" special, featuring all new previously unheard music from the upcoming Reflektor LP.

Directed by Roman Coppola, the special featured performances of "Here Comes The Night Time," "We Exist," and "Normal Persons," as well as "Reflektor" and "Afterlife" during Saturday Night Live. As well, a slew of guest stars had small cameos, including; Bill Hader, Zach Galifianakis, Rainn Wilson, Jason Shwartzman, Aziz Ansari, Eric Wareheim, Bono, Ben Stiller, James Franco, and Michael Cera.

Tuesday Bears: New HEALTH video, directed by Eric Wareheim

Eric Wareheim just added another gem to his catalog of purple, green and red music videos. This time around, however, the funny (if it is supposed to be) is supplemented by, what else? Graphic violence.

The new video for HEALTH's dark forest dream-sounding "We Are Water" shows a ladyish-boy running away from a machete-wielding underwear plad mad man through the snow encapsulated forests of, oh, I don't know, let's say Maine.

Wednesday Bears: New Yeasayer Video - O.N.E.

Yeasayer's new 80's-stylo-esque Radical Friend directed video for the band's new single "O.N.E.," reads more like an off-shoot Tron promo than a video from the band who brought us 2007's All Hour Cymbals. It's a visual escapade, full of neon and bright crystals and a dash of humor. I would say this is probably directed by Eric Wareheim if I didn't know any better.
