Braids - Fruend

Two weeks before the release of Flourish // Perish, Montreal bedroom electro act Braids have dropped the endlessly warming "Fruend." The sparkling track is the fourth the band has released so far from the upcoming LP, which is set for release August 20 on Arbutus/Full Time Hobby/Flemish Eye. Stream it below.

Braids - In Kind

Director Angus Borsos took the cataclysmic epic "In Kind" from Braids forthcoming Flourish//Perish LP, and paired it ever-so finely with sets of wonderfully naturalistic shots. Song aside, the video itself is quite a marvel, making it at least the most beautiful of the year.

Doldrums - Holographic Sandcastles

Director Winston Hacking put together an ambient swing of swirling colors and specters in the newest video from Montreal producer Doldrums for "Holographic Sandcastles."

The track comes from Doldrums' latest album Lesser Evil, supplying the subtle 8-bit scores with singer Sami Nacomi contributing on vocals. Watch it below and grab Lesser Evil today on Arbutus Records.

New Doldrums - Anomaly

Featured on next month's Lesser Evil LP is "Anomaly," a drifting, echo pop cut from Montreal producer Doldrums. The album is slated for release February 25 in Europe, and 26 in North America via Arbutus Records.
