Only a few months from the release of The Shins last album since 2007 (really), the Portland group have released the first single from the upcoming Port of Morrow (available tomorrow for pre-order tomorrow with exclusive versions of "Simple Song"). There isn't much of an aesthetic departure from 2007's Wincing the Night Away, despite the changes in the group. "Simple Song" is incredibly catchy and engaging, or, James Mercer-esque. Listen below.
