J Roddy Walston and the Business - Used to Did

J Roddy Walston and the Business, a little (in a way) blues-rock band out of Baltimore seem uncharacteristically obsessed with classic rock style. Their Vagrant home page is an exorbitant collage of rock n' roll icons - the kind you'd see transposed across frat boy wallpaper. However, that usual style transition rarely translates to anything worth mentioning, especially in a modern sense.

I imagine to a lot of people, the substance with J Roddy Walston isn't too appealing; I was offput by it too, initially. But, their inclusion in the Lollapalooza lineup was good enough to grab first-ballot attention, so when I came around to "Used to Did," I was pretty pleased. See for yourself.
