Grizzly Bear on Interface

Grizzly Bear's immensely anticipated third studio album Veckatimest was finally released last Tuesday amidst a swirl of, lets say, well-received reactions. Although much of the album was leaked or heard from months prior to the actual release date, the sheer volume of coverage catapulted them to one of alternative music's most appreciated and rising artists.

The band, performing a sold-out show tonight at NYC's Town Hall with Here We Go Magic, performed song's from the new album at Spinner's The Interface. Watch the full interview and performance here.

New Dan Auerbach Video - Heartbroken, In Disrepair

Dan Auerbach's solo album Keep it Hid debuted last February showing loads of promise from the Black Keys frontman. The video for the album's first single "Heartbroken, In Disrepair" was filmed in a befitting Texas field with the sun fairly setting on the horizon.

My Morning Jacket drummer Patrick Hallahan, for those who can recognize him, appears on the drums, alongside the members of Hacienda.

Play with the Cold War Kids

MTV has one of best interactive music video's i've ever seen with Cold War Kids' single "I've Seen Enough." Mute, Unmute, and change up the instrumental scheme's with this delightful summer song, ranging from screeching rock (red) to mellowed out acoustics (blue).

Try it out here.

New Yeah Yeah Yeahs Video - "Heads Will Roll"

"Heads Will Roll," the 2nd video released off the Yeah Yeah Yeahs most recent LP It's Blitz! debuted earlier today. The werewolf seems to be the principle difference between this video and the one for "Zero."

Beastie Boys Revisit Check Your Head on Fallon

The Beastie Boys are 2009's Summer music festival hogs, headlining Bonnaroo, All Points West, Lollapalooza, and San Fransisco's Outside Lands Festival. Along with the busy Summer schedule the band's label, Capitol Records, is re-issuing the group's entire catalog, all while prepping the band's forthcoming LP Hot Sauce Committee.

The group's appearance on Fallon last night ended (along with a plea from Jimmy) to give fans a taste from their 1992 album Check Your Head, with a Roots-backed rendition of "So What'cha Want." So far, so good for a Beastie-filled Summer.
