The Road Trailer

Cormac McCarthy's (No Country for Old Men, All the Pretty Horses) most recent novel to be adapted to film, The Road, finally has its first trailer.

Fans of the novel are already iffy about what they have seen from the trailer, considering it appears to be more action oriented and gives Charlize Theron's character much more face time than she ever had in the book. However, according to The Cinematical, The Weinstein Company are just throwing out a trailer that appears to be an action-oriented post apocolyptic film (I Am Legend), but, according to Esquire, is actually as bleak and endearing the novel was.

Whatever the case may be, Viggo Mortensen usually is good enough to get me on board.
