Sarah Palin on Russia

In a recent interview with Charlie Gibson of ABC News, Sarah Palin was asked a myriad of questions that up until now, no media outlet had done before. Here's my favorite tid-bit from the interview, in which Gibson asked Palin of her opinion with the situation in Russia ...

Gibson: What insight into Russia actions particularly in the last couple of weeks does the proximity of the state give you?

Palin: They're out next door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska.

There is no deep in transit meaning to Palin's statement that can be backed up at any other point in time. This was her serious answer in her first interview with the press since the declaration of her candidacy as the Republican Vice Presidential Nominee. In any means Matt Damon put it profoundly accurate when he remarked the decision to nominate her as "absurd." The blatant obviousness of her intellectual and maturity fall-outs lace the reasons of why the Democrats penned her as "inexperienced." She is not inexperienced because the lack of executive experience, no one is arguing that, but inexperienced because Governor Palin, is, to some extent, an idiot. An idiot that makes George Bush's credentials look like a fever dream. Gone was the immediate political rush that even the liberals felt upon the declaration of her as McCain's running mate, and is now all but replaced by ominous fear of someone of this likeness to actually become this nation's Vice President.

The rest of the interview with Charlie Gibson was a well-taught media shower of grimaces and shrugs. More in the future.

Four New Ryan Adams Songs

Thanks to Consequence of Sound for sending the details of Ryan Adams September 7th show at the Bank of America Pavilion, in which the song-writing aholic debuted four new tracks, which will, as COS put it, "surely find its way onto his upcoming release, The Cardinals III/IV." It's odd that Mr. Adams actually has a news piece in which himself and Courtney Love aren't going at each other's throats, but I guess change always has to come.

Check out Adam's four bootlegs from that September 7th show, "Cobwebs", "Fix It", "Sinking Ship", and "The Color of Pain."

New Music: The Sapiens - Rind

New Ben Folds Video Directed By Tim and Eric

I'm gonna be upset when the season finale of Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job! airs this Sunday on Adult Swim, being this website is comprised of about 30% of everything they do. But I'll learn to live that life (especially with It's Always Sunny coming back on Thursday!).

Anyway, here's another amusing side-project from the two; directing Ben Folds newest music video. Enjoy. Oh, and don't be confused by the labeling below. It's not Regina Spektor.

New M.I.A. - Hit That

Retirement has been getting shorter and shorter for celebrities. Only five months after Maya declared her retirement at Bonnaroo (come on, no one took that seriously), she's already released her newest single "Hit That" from, hopefully, her 3rd upcoming album. Judge for yourself.

MP3 found at Pop Tarts Suck Toasted, by Pat.

Kanye West - Love Lockdown Download

You'll have to wait until December 16th to pick up Kanye's 4th album, 808's & Heartbreak, but only a day after he performed "Love Lockdown" at the 25th Annual MTV Video Music Awards, Kanye's first single has already been thrown across the internet. Is it good? Fucking guess.

Of course it's good.

Good Enough to Post

Come on, resist it.

It's official now, Kanye's 4th album, entitled 808's and Heartbreak will be released on 12/16, just in time for the Holidays. Check out the whole story here.

Letter to Mike Berkowitz, Aziz Ansari's Booking Agent.

Hey Mike,

I'm responding to Aziz's post on his Facebook, "Have Me Do Standup At Your College," in the hopes you and Aziz would travel to my school, Rowan University. I'm a very big fan of Aziz' comedy and his work on 'Human Giant,' and would be more than exstatic if Aziz could come here to Rowan. It's close to New York City, and only about 20-25 minutes away from Philadelphia. Come on. This could make the year so much better here at this fantastically average University. We need the man. Need him. This place has sold out comedians before (Nick Swardson, Zach Galifianakis, and Lewis Black to name a few), and can surely do it again. Please don't make us go through the Bullshit that was Pablo Fransisco, last Spring Semester, again.

Sincerely,
Matt Korman, Sophomore, Rowan University.

Viacom Keeps Dicking Me Over

Yeah.

I've been trying to post up Kanye West's performance of his new song "Love Lockdown," and Russell Brand making fun of the Jonas Brothers, but Viacom, the company that owns MTV and it's affiliates, keeps taking the video's off the Internet, to decrease visual pleasure. I don't like the VMA's, and Hell, the only show I might dislike more than the VMA's is the Grammys, but these two things actually have value. Fucking business peripherals ...

I'll keep trying, but it should be a while before any progress is made.

Tim and Eric Get Even Better

Is it possible for that to happen? Check out last night's show from Adult Swim to find out.
