According to Alex Young at Consequence of Sound, Alternative-Indie "We Don't Give" a "Shits" The Dirty Pretty Things have broken up only after releasing two albums. In the aftermath of The Libertines, Pete Doherty and Carl Barât went their separate ways to form Carl's Dirty Pretty Things and Pete's Babyshambles. In an ironic twist, Pete's project actually lasted longer.The band's website released a statement today that announced the groups demise effective immediately, apparently right in the middle of tour. If this were England you might be caring a little more, so I don't blame you for not.
