Beacon - For Now EP

Every once in a while I forget how great of a label Ghostly International is. Clearly standing out for its vision and modern direction, the Michigan label has a slew of fantastic electro artists that deserve more attention.

Included in that distinction are Brooklyn duo Beacon. Their fantastic new EP For Now is slated for release October 2, but you can listen to the five track set below.

Major Lazer and J. Cole - Get Free Coleworld

A year after J. Cole's debut Cole World: A Sideline Story, the North Carolina rapper released this brand new cut over the supremely excellent "Get Free" single from Major Lazer and Amber Coffman. Check the new version of the song below.

New Grizzly Bear video - Yet Again

The first official video from the latest Grizzly Bear album Shields has been released. "Yet Again," the album's standout single, features an ice skater falling through the cracks (metaphors?) and tracking her way back to where it all started.

Check the video out below and grab Shields today via Warp.

Tourist - Peaks

This acid-house rework "Peaks" comes from London producer Tourist (discovered courtesy of that other site I write for The 405). It's just another solid electro track to add to the many gems we've found today. Check it out below.

New Andy Stott - Numb

Haunting, distant, and calmly pressing, are some of the ways to describe the utterly engrossing opening track "Numb" from Andy Stott's upcoming album Luxury Problems. Laced with luring vocal samples from Alison Skidmore and dripping atmospheric echoes, the track drifts from chaotic space to a collapsing dream. Listen for yourself below, and grab the album next month from fantastic underground UK label Modern Love.

New Sohn - The Wheel

At the end of August, we heard "Warnings," the brand new track from Vienna-via-London producer Sohn. The newest track, "The Wheel," comes from his upcoming November 5 EP of the same name. Check out the more vocal track below.

PAWS - Sore Tummy/Salem

Cokefloat!, the debut LP from PAWS, is set for release October 9 via Fat Cat Records. You can stream the awesome "Sore Tummy" from the album below, as well as "Salem," which won't be featured on the release.

New Dum Dum Girls video - Lord Knows

"Lord Knows," this beautiful new track from the Dum Dum Girls' brand new End Of Daze EP, has a brand new video. Check it out below.

New Crystal Castles - Wrath Of God

New of Crystal Castles upcoming third album III is already well-known, so this news isn't all that new. Check out "Wrath Of God," the follow up to the album's first single "Plague" below, and grab the album digitally November 5.

Party Supplies video - New York 2017

This new video for "New York 2017" from little known, but pretty damn awesome producer Party Supplies, showcases the splendor of our past. Filled with clips of commercials, giant clothing, and 80s DJs, it's a fun reminder of the way things were - or at least what we though they were. Check it out below.

Melé - Space Jam

This brand new mash (discovered at Abeano) froMelé, "Space Jam," is a jumpy, electro blend with an all-too-fitting title. It comes from the producer's upcoming collaboration with Annie Mac, which is slated for release October 8. Check it out below.

New Kendrick Lamar - Art Of Peer Pressure

There's something amazing about the prolific rate in which certain artists work. I can't count the number of times I've posted something new from Danny Brown or Kendrick Lamar, and that's a good thing considering the sparseness in time between studio work for a lot of artists.

We're less than a month away from the release of Lamar's supremely-anticipated good kid, m.A.A.d city, and we get another track from the Compton rapper. Check out "Art Of Peer Pressure" below.

EDIT: The stream has been taken down, but you can download the track here via Pretty Much Amazing.

Rudimental - Feel The Love video

There's a lot to love about Rudimental's video for "Feel The Love." The video, which I discovered via Bobby Solomon's excellent The Fox Is Black blog, comes from director Bob Harlow, which ended up in first place in the Music Video category at LA Shorts Fest.

Wonderfully shot, you can see the geographical highlights in the video - Philadelphia. It showcases one of the city's oldest youth groups, the Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club, riding horses through the city in the light snow. Check the whole thing out below.

New Sigur Rós video - Ekki Múkk

The newest video from Sigur Rós' Valtari Mystery Film Experiment features Game Of Thrones and The Wire star Aiden Gillen. Directed by Nick Abrahams, the ten minute video features the Irish actor aimlessly talking to animals in grassy fields. Check it out below, and stop crying.

New Andrew Bird - Three White Horses

The second of Andrew Bird's 2012 projects, Hands Of Glory, is slated for release October 30. The eight-track album is full of cover tracks and a few brand new songs, including "Three White Horses," which you can stream below.
