The Killers on Letterman

Last night, The Killers performed the unabashedly outstanding lead single "Runaways" from their most recent album Battle Born on The Late Show With David Letterman. Check it out below and assume that Brandon Flowers sleeps in leather jackets like I do.

Danny Brown's 'Bruiser Brigade' EP

Because there just isn't enough Danny Brown music going around every day (seriously), Scion A/V presents this four-track EP from the Detroit rapper. The Bruiser Brigade EP, which you can stream below (censored), features two new tracks - "Errthang" and "Jooky" - and two remixes of those tracks.

From Freddie Gibb's upcoming September 25 mixtape Baby Face Killa is "Kush Cloud," this jam-packed single featuring SpaceGhostPurrp and Bone Thugs n' Harmony veteran Krayzie Bone. Check it out below.

New Hands - Whichever Way You'll Have It

This invigorating post-pop track from little-known band New Hands should be a nice surprise for your day. Listen and download the band's track "Whichever Way You'll Have It" below, and stay tuned for new things from the band in the near future.

New Dirty Projectors video - About To Die

From David Longstreth's Hi Custodian project is this new video for Dirty Projector's "About To Die." It's simply a shortened version of the original 20-minute video from the band's new album Swing Lo Magellen.

"About To Die" will also be feature track on the band's upcoming EP of the same name, which will be released November 6 via Domino Records.

Syron Mixtape #1

Nineteen-year-old southeast London native Daisy Syron is making a small name for herself in recent weeks. Prepping the release of her her single "Breaking" next Monday, September 24 through exciting indie label Black Butter Records, she released this near 40-minute mix you can stream below. Included are several originals from Syron, as well as a few inventive remixes.

As well, you can stream her "Breaking" single here, that includes three remixes of its own.

New Flying Lotus video - Putty Boy Strut

Featured on his upcoming Until The Quiet Comes album next month, Flying Lotus premiered this astounding new animated video for "Putty Boy Strut." This Cyriak Harris-directed video showcases some absolutely brilliant animation of robots in a future post-human civilization, and the downfall of that civilization. Check it out below and grab Until The Quiet Comes October 2.

Dum Dum Girls - End Of Daze (EP Stream)

Dum Dum Girls' newest EP End Of Daze won't be out officially until September 25, but Sub Pop is streaming all five tracks already. It's what you expect from the all-girl foursome; glorious lo-fi, 60s-inspired pop, rich in dreamy vocals. Check the whole thing out below.

New King Krule - Octopus

UK emerging act King Krule, who I've been a fairly big supporter of, has released another new track. Fitting the mold of his mellowed out self-titled EP, check out "Octopus." Atmosphere galore.

New Jessie Ware video - Night Light

From one of 2012's most underrated albums, Devotion, is Jessie Ware's newest video for "Night Light." The fairly adventurous and visually stirring video feature's Jessie's famed sister Hannah, who plays Emma Kane on STARZ hit shot Boss. Check it out below.

Mac DeMarco - My Kind Of Woman/Freaking Out On The Neighborhood

These two new tracks from Montreal-based Mac DeMarco's studio album 2, which is slated for release October 16, via Captured Tracks. Check out "My Kind Of Woman" and "Freaking Out On The Neighborhood" below.

Nightbeds - Even If We Try

Recently signed to Dead Oceans is this vigorously eye-opening duo Nightbeds. The voice you're hearing is 23-year-old Winston Yellen, and the reason I point that out is because, damn, it sticks with you. The vocalizing is at times jaw-dropping on "Even If We Try," which is the A-Side to their 7", which is out today.

The band will be stopping nearby in Philadelphia on October 9 at Johnny Brenda's. Do your best to see them.

New Chvrches - The Mother We Share

I think you can tell by the way the album cover looks that Chvrches probably use a lot of synths. It's a good guess, because they do, but there's genuine pop appeal for their new track "The Mother We Share." Check it out below.

New METZ - Wet Blanket

From what little I've heard from Toronto outfit METZ, I've been thoroughly impressed. That probably has to do with my soft-spot for warbled lo-fi garage rock, but the trio's new track "Wet Blanket" stands out pretty well. Listen to the track below and grab their self-titled debut October 9, via Sub Pop.

New Frank Ocean video - Pyramids

You don't have to come here to know of Frank Ocean's performances on Saturday Night Live's premiere last weekend because I've assumed you've seen them already. However, Ocean did release his official video for "Pyramids," which does feature SNL assistant John Mayer. It's nearly eight minutes long, which isn't that long when you remember the actual song is about 10 minutes long. Watch it below.
