CID RIM - Poellau

Courtesy of Joe at Abeano, you can check out "Poellau" from the recording sessions of CID RIM's July debut. It's a tight, ambient-influenced track filled with glossy hooks and quirks that keep coming back with each successive listen.

The Sanctuaries - Fooled By Youth (Dinowalrus Remix)

This glossy Dinowalrus remix of The Sanctuaries' "Fooled By Youth" doesn't come across as a re-work to the unsuspecting listener, but the finishing synths and guitars give the single a completely different spin. Check out the track below, via Noisey, and grab The Sanctuaries most recent album Annette today.

New Milo Greene video - Don't You Give Up On Me

Little-known L.A. quartet (seriously, they played at Lollapalooza and I had no idea) Milo Greene have released the newest in their ongoing catalog of videos from their self-titled debut album. New Generationals - Lucky Numbers

This infectiously happy track from Generationals' upcoming self-released EP of the same way will head our way October 2. For now, get a listen to the title track.

Sohn - Warnings

This creepy new minimalist track from London producer Sohn fits fairly well with the longer nights at the end of summer. With distant, charming vocals, it's hard not to like it swimming late at night or waiting for the sun to come up. You can check it out below.

New Trash Talk - F.E.B.N.

If hardcore punk isn't your thing, then just avoid Trash Talk. The Sacramento four-piece gained a good deal of attention after signing (and performing with) Odd Future's label, which will be releasing their upcoming 119 LP. Check out the album's first single "F.E.B.N." below, and grab the album October 9.

Rene Hill - Meta Concrete

September 18 will mark the U.S. release of the upcoming duel LP between Oneohtrix Point Never and Rene Hill, through NNA Tapes. Although the press on the release has been a little quiet, this new single from Hill's side, "Meta Concrete," should stir up some hype. Listen below and pre-order the album here.

New Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire video - Position of Passion

Fans of Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire's videos really get a sense of the Brooklyn hometown vibe he puts out, usually sticking strictly with locale spots - which were more logical when he was just a budding Youtube rapper. His newest video for "Position of Passion" ends with a clearly NSFW finale, which you can watch below in all its glory.

Check it out below, and grab his new digital EP Power and Passion out soon.

New Sigur Rós video - Dauðalogn

The ongoing Valtari film project from Sigur Rós has another new video for you to watch. More so than any other video so far from the album, this one for "Dauðalogn" seems most appropriate, showing natural landscapes and starry atmospheres. Watch it below.

New (!!!) Daft Punk album/tour coming in 2013

In what has to be the most terrifyingly exciting news we've seen in a while, French super-no-one-else-compares-to-them duo Daft Punk are finally, finally coming back.

It's been over three years since the release of their live album Alive and more than six since the duo's last studio album (not counting their work with the Tron: Legacy soundtrack). In that time, Daft Punk have earned the stellar reputation as one of the biggest and best live music spectacles in the world. Their transformative show at Coachella 2006 (their first U.S. show since 1997, at the time) and Lollapalooza 2007 were ritualistically heralded as two of the greatest festival performances of the decade - by anyone. You can go so far as to say that the current popularity wave electronica music is riding in the U.S. was all started by Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, so word of a new album and tour should be bigger news than ever.

You can see in the promo graphic, March 13th of next year marks the release of No End, which was produced with help from Nile Rodgers and Giorgio Moroder. As well, word is that the production team responsible for the iconic live pyramid in their performances will be hard at work again to make sure the new live experiences are more memorable than the last. Tour dates are sketchy, but do in fact exist. We'll likely hear more news on live performances in the near future. For now, however, just revel in the excitement. It's finally time.

New Sleigh Bells video - End Of The Line

A few days after we found out that Sleigh Bells would make a special guest spot on the season opener of Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations, the duo released their newest music video for "End Of The Line." It's a slower track, for those familiar with Sleigh Bells, so the Gregory Kahn-directed video is bit more subdued than you might expect. Check it out below.

How To Dress Well - Cold Nites (Koreless Remix)

This new How To Dress Well remix comes from producer Koreless, who reworked the previously slow-driving song "Cold Nites" from his excellent sophomore release Total Loss. Check it out below.
