Night Moves - Country Queen

Don't let the song title throw you off. Minneapolis band Night Moves' "Country Queen" is a fantastic anthem from their increasingly hyped Colored Emotions LP, which is set for release October 9 via Domino. The single comes months after the release of their "Headlights" 7", which you should take your time to listen to below as well.

Eyes Lips Eyes - What You Want (If You Want) EP stream

An energizing blend of crashing dance rock, Eyes Lips Eyes brand new What You Want (If You Want) EP is a four-track mash of pleasure inducing music that seemingly comes from no where. The name is fairly unfamiliar, but the sounds aren't. Tightly constructed, the EP, which you can stream below, is one of the nicer left-field productions this month from a band that should become more familiar in the coming weeks.

Check it out here via Spinner.

Illum Sphere - H808RS

This new dizzying track from Manchester's Illum Sphere is an intense metallic break, filled with gleaming bright spots under a veneer of house-inspired chrome. You can check it out below, and grab the single September 3 via Young Turks.

Sleigh Bells on 'No Reservations'

Anyone who knows me personally will note my appreciation for cult food personality Anthony Bourdain. The chef/author/TV show host isn't the typical celebrity chef, shilling bad products for a stuffy audience; he's pretty badass. A notable American punk rock fan (The Ramones remain his favorite band), Bourdain travels the world eating whatever any one else will, experiencing anything and everything he can along the way.

In the upcoming final season of his Travel Channel show No Reservations, Bourdain heads down to Austin. During his time, he meets up with Sleigh Bells and friends to cook and play in the suburbs, and, what the hell, throw on another tattoo. Check out the clip below and watch the season premiere September 3 at 9 p.m. on Travel Channel.

New Grimes video - Genesis

I have no idea what Grimes wants in life, what amuses her, what she finds interesting, what she needs, what she desires, what she fears, or what she wants to be when she's older. I don't know. I just don't know. Here's her new video for "Genesis," which she directed.

A$AP Rocky performs "Goldie" on Fallon

Garbed in all white (and off white) and tan boots, A$AP Rocky made his late night television debut last night on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to perform standout single "Goldie" alongside The Roots. The track comes from Rocky's long-awaited studio debut LongLiveA$AP, which is out September 11.

Yeasayer on Fallon

Celebrating the release of their brand new album Fragrant World, Yeasayer performed "Longevity," on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon with bigger-than-you'd-expect stage props gracing the background of the artful pop performance. Check it out below and grab the album today.

New Diplo video - Set It Off

Diplo's Express Yourself EP is an apparent ass-shaking dream. The video for the title track showcases the Philadelphia producers affinity for it, and the newest video for "Set It Off" doesn't stop it. The video's stars a never-ending pole of strippers spinning into space for your enjoyment. Check it out below.

New Dinosaur Jr. video - Watch The Corners

The newest video for Dinosaur Jr.'s "Watch The Corners" is a grocery-themed romance, starring (!) Tim Heidecker as the concerning father of the female lead. I will note that Heidecker fans might recognize his character's affinity for model airplanes. The music's good too. Check the video out below via Funny or Die, and grab Dinosaur Jr.'s new album I Bet On Sky, September 18.

New Les Sins - Fetch/Taken

A few years back, producer Chaz Bundick (Toro Y Moi) began publishing more house-centric work under his separate moniker Les Sins, through Dan Snaith's label Jiaolong. You can check out both sides of Les Sins' upcoming single release "Fetch/Taken" below, which is set for release later this month.

New Frightened Rabbit video - State Hospital

Only a week after the release of the title track from Frightened Rabbit's upcoming State Hospital EP, the band debuted their new video for the song. You can check out the beautifully shot Hand Held Cine Club video below and grab the EP September 25 via Canvasback/Atlantic Records.

New Kendrick Lamar - Westside, Right On Time (ft. Young Jeezy)

Slowing down doesn't seem to be part of Kendrick Lamar's persona. The oft-mentioned West coast phenom has released yet another track from his hugely anticipated studio debut good kid, m.A.A.d. city, this team featuring the help of Young Jeezy. The huge track, "Westside, Right On Time" is sure to be one of the album's bigger singles unless more like it keep churning out. Check it out below.
