Friday Bears: EL-P - Rush Over BKLYN

Recognize the title? If you do, you may recall El-P's "Drones Over Brooklyn," part of Adult Swim's 2011 Singles Program. This version has El-P versing over Rush's "Tom Sawyer" (you know, "do-da-do-do-do, do-da-do-da-do-do) - legally, might I add.

The mix was a sample-based push put through Legitmix, which lets DJ's and others legally sample things, for whatever reason I haven't figured out.

Also, BUY the single. It'll help fellow DJ Mr. Dibbs who has liver disease. Listen below.

Thursday Bears: New Deer Tick - Main Street

It's not some topical offshoot of the Occupy movements, which I'm sure will be taken seriously in song anyway, so no worries. "Main Street" is the first single off Deer Tick's recently released Divine Providence, courtesy of Partisan Records. And just like a lot of what Deer Tick does, it's still kinda underrated.

New Summer Camp video - Down

Ryan Adams on Later ... With Jools Holland

Ryan Adam's recent break from his super-prolific stretch in the mid-late 2000s is over. With the release of Ashes & Fire, the 13th in Adams' 11-year catalog, the Jacksonville, NC native right back into old familiar form, as you can see in his performance of "Lucky Now" on Jools Holland, below.

Tuesday Bears: Beirut on Fallon

This is easy. Beirut performed The Rip Tide standout "Santa Fe" on Fallon last night, effortlessly. Watch below, via The Audio Perv.

Monday Bears: New Duck Sauce video - Big Bad Wolf

In all honesty, A-Track and Armand Van Helden had to do something after "Barbra Streisand" to catch people's eyes. And well, "Big Bad Wolf" isn't the best song selection - like, at all - but this new NSFW video is goddamn incredible. Watch below via Rolling Stone.
