Friday Bears: New Justice video - Civilization

After what seemed like an extended time of waiting, here's Justice's first new video from the duo's second album for "Civilization." The Edouard Salier directed video is the world we're leaving the buffalo.

The new Civilization EP is due out Monday, June 6.

Thursday Bears: New (kinda) Patrick Wolf video - House

I'll admit I'm kinda late with this, but Patrick Wolf is one of those artists I feel I don't acknowledge enough, but still appreciate most of what he does.

His newest video for "House," the first single off of his June 20 release Lupercalia, is a beautifully shot classical home collapsing in (using my botanical knowledge here) what appears to be the Amazon. The toucan didn't give that away.

Bon Iver sings Bonnie Raitt, Donny Hathaway on Fallon

Before Justin Vernon and Bon Iver truly explode (future covers of both SPIN and Billboard magazines are on the way), the Wisconsin native appeared on Fallon last night. It might be a slight disappointment for some that Vernon didn't perform anything from next month's self-titled release, but his rendition of Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me" and "Nick of Time," along with Donny Hathaway's "A Song for You" were still that other-worldly awe that Vernon continually evokes.

The Raitt covers will appear on the B-Side of the group's first single from the album, "Calgary." Pre-orders are available here.

Tuesday Bears: The Vaccines on Letterman

Well, that one-day long struggle with malware is apparently out the window, so I'm happy to get back to normal before a possible domain transfer.

The Vaccines made their first appearance on Letterman last night performing "If You Wanna" from the band's debut What Did You Expect From the Vaccines?, set for release next Tuesday, May 31. At this point, if the Vaccines do something and I don't post it, it should be considered a surprise.

Monday Bears: Two New Arcade Fire Songs

A few months prior to the release of the Arcade Fire's deluxe edition of The Suburbs (to be released June 27), a pair of unreleased songs premiered on BBC Radio's Zane Lowe Show, via Listen Before You Buy.

"Speaking in Tongues" also features the help of David Byrne, while "Culture War" fits the more conventional Subrubs-esque style.

UPDATE: Head over here to listen to the tracks, I had to take them down because of apparent malware bananary.
