Wednesday Bears: New Fucked Up - Queen of Hearts

Little by little, pieces of Fucked Up's anticipated rock opera David Comes to Life have been slowly released over the past few weeks. Today, the group released the album's fourth of four singles "Queen of Hearts," before the album's official release June 7. However, Matador "Buy Early Get Now" customers can download the album in four parts starting May 10.

The band also released their upcoming tour schedule, with a June 26 stop in Philadelphia at the First Unitarian Church. Get there, or check the remainder of the tour here.

Our newest obsession: Heads on Sticks

The newest entrant in Bears and Bullet's Our Newest Obsession series comes from the Paper Crane Collective, who enlightened me to Heads on Sticks, a Raleigh, North Carolina group that could be called anything from crystal electro-pop to modern psychedelic symposium. And maybe that's the perfect reason to catch on to the group - there's nothing that quite categorizes what they do.

Monday Bears: New Titus Andronicus video - No Future Part III: Escape From No Future

Last week, Titus Andronicus premiered the latest video from last year's The Monitor for "No Future Part III: Escape From No Future."

The video centers around the band's beloved home New Jersey (also mine), playing shows across the state. So, it hits a bit close to home when you start to recognize each and every high way the tour van passes.
