A few weeks ago, the National premiered their new song "Think You Can Wait," featuring Sharon Van Etten, from Thomas McCarthy and Paul Giamatti's new movie "Win Win." The video treatment features a bunch of behind the scene footage of the film, with a tiny concert from the group.

Wednesday Bears: New Dum Dum Girls video - He Gets Me High
Yesterday, Dum Dum Girls released two videos: One, for their cover of Big Star's "September Gurls," the other for their lead single off their He Gets Me High EP, available now. It's got flowers and stuff, whatever you thought a Dum Dum Girls video would look like.

Dum Dum Girls cover Big Star
Maybe it's the recent Big Star surge I've been on that makes this a total coincidence, but Dum Dum Girls recently covered Alex Chilton's seminal "September Gurls," on the A.V. Club's web video series A.V. Undercover. It also lead me to discover that I'm not exactly sure what the majority of the band looks like without sunglasses.

Tuesday Bears: New Pains of Being Pure at Heart video - Heart in Your Heartbreak
After my retroactive reversal of opinion of the Pains of Being Pure at Heart last week, the group premiered the first video from their second studio LP (released today), Belong. The video for "Heart in Your Heartbreak," which the group performed on Letterman recently, takes place in a Guitar Galaxy. That could be anywhere, really.

New Strokes video - Call Me Back
Shortly after the release of Angles and a few impromptu live gigs, the Strokes premiered the second video from the album (fast, huh?) earlier today.
The video was actually made by baseball t-shirt aficionado Albert Hammond Jr. for anyone who preordered Angles. It's about bubbles, or girls, or something.

Monday Bears: New Panda Bear - The Preakness
My natural inclination towards anything that has to do with bears might lead people to believe that I'm a huge Panda Bear fan. Well, I am, but the bear part is just an added bonus. With the release of Tomboy, his first solo studio venture in four years, Noah Lennox has been releasing a bevy of unreleased songs, including "The Preakness."
The song isn't actually on Tomboy, but part of Animal Collective's Keep collaboration; a charity cassette (alright, I guess) for the Socorro Island Conservation Fund, which is available here via ... shoes.
Tomboy drops Tuesday, April 12 via Paw Tracks.
