Friday Bears: First listen to Daft Punk's Tron: Legacy Soundtrack
Courtesy of 107.7 Seattle, fans eagerly anticipating the upcoming Winter-release of Tron: Legacy can get their first listen to the equally, somehow, appealing Daft Punk-crafted soundtrack. From the six clips you can kinda gather the sound from the film, curating a mixture of Hans Zimmer, Philip Glass and, well, Daft Punk.
Listen for yourself here. Tron: Legacy is due out December 17, courtesy of Disney. Check out the official trailer below.

Thursday Bears: New Deerhunter and Pomegranates
After a few days of scouring the interning-webs finding a true, unfiltered or non-linked source to Deerhunter's newest single "Revival." Well it seems the clouds hovering above the Side-A from the band's upcoming album Halcyon Digest (the password is tapereel, thanks GvB) 7" have finally parted, so give it a listen.
During my search I also stumbled across this delightful little track from the Pomegranates, which I was apparently a little late to. See for yourself.

Wednesday Bears: Beck and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, the live-action take on the celebrated comic series, is due in theaters August 13. For those who aren't familiar with it, it stars Michael Cera as the aforementioned Scott Pilgrim, and his quest to stay with Ramona Flowers and so on and blah bleh bah. In the film, Pilgrim's band Sex Bo-Omb sings over pre-recorded tracks from artists like The Black Lips and Broken Social Scene.
Some tracks, however, didn't make cut it in the film-version, including Beck's two-minute-plus 90's garage fuzz diddy "Summertime." You can listen to the stream below, along with a couple Pilgrim-related trailers.
The Scott Pilgrim vs. the World soundtrack is available now.

Tuesday Bears: New El Guincho - Bombay
It's been two long (long) years since we've gotten our first taste of Pablo Diaz-Reixa's Alegranza!. Known as El Guincho, Diaz-Reixa has broken his two-year silence (outside of Piratas de Sudamerica) with "Bombay," a summer Spanish blend that comes from the sound wood-work akin to Ratatat and Os Mutantes.
Expect the new El Guincho album Pop Negro (release date details are still murky) in the near future, via Young Turks.
