Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Midnight Man (Live)

I've gotten a hold of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' latest video on Pitchfork.tv, only four days late (sorry). I'm trying to see them October 7th, but that would mean my plans wouldn't fall through at the worst times. And that isn't my style.

Obama/Biden

I appreciate the texts.

Birthday Woes

To celebrate my birthday today, my computer was rebooted and I lost my thousands of music files and written documents. Society gets me again!

Although I do appreciate Kanye sending me a birthday greeting...

"Golden Age" MP3

Streaming was never good enough. To update yesterday's post about TV on The Radio's upcoming album Dear Science (September 23rd), I give you the bands first single "Golden Age." Never let your comrade's down, I say.

Birthday Drawing Closer

My birthday is in two days, and to celebrate i'm going to do less and less work on this website until then. Kidz!

New TV On The Radio Album - Dear Science

Tunde Adebimpe, Kyp Malone, David Andrew Sitek, Jaleel Bunton, and Gerard Smith - the five men from Brooklyn's TV On The Radio - are planning their follow up to their incredible 2006 album, Return to Cookie Mountain. News this morning from Stereogum and other sources led me to the first listen of their new album, Dear Science, and the album's first single "Golden Age." Take your listen at tvontheradio.com, and prepare for Dear Science; out September 23rd.

Bloc Party - Intimacy LP out August 21st

Less than a year after Bloc Party's last so-so album A Weekend in The City was released, the English Gang of Four (come on, irony) are set to release their 3rd project entitled Intimacy.

According to NME;
"The band announced the shock release during a webchat with fans on blocparty.com today (August 18). Fans can choose whether to pay either £5 for a high-quality mp3 bundle (to be delivered on August 21), £8 for a CD (to be delivered on October 27), or £10 for a combined order of both CD and mp3 bundle."

I'm not sure what to make of this, but I'll try something minimal anyway. Here's the group's video for their newest single "Mercury."

More Lesser Panda

Discodust has been more reliable than any of the other music blogs I frequently browse through. Aleks, the man who brought me Lesser Panda, has given me more Lesser Panda. Be it remixes, I still appreciate how much shit this site puts out.

lesser panda - ghostdance (heartbreak remix)
lesser panda - carousel (drums of death remix)

Another New Wilco

Wilco debuted another new song only two days after they performed "One Wing" at Lollapalooza, in Indianapolis. With the immediacy, the news of a new album slated for Spring release was not surprising. Here's the newest one, via You Ain't No Picasso, titled "Sunny Feeling."

We Want You To Listen To More Fleet Foxes

Fleet Foxes have been on my mind a lot lately since the Sub Pop guys have started to move further and further into the mainstream. I've already shown you guys their "Blue Ridge Mountains" performance on Letterman, but i've found more, this time through Unpiano. Here's a few more; "He Doesn't Know Why" and "Your Protector."

More BoB SwanS

Check out BoB's newest mix. It's a 10 minute sample track for Lancaster University Radio, and it's as good as anything else he's put out so far. Mornin'!
